cinelli drop 3: introducing the football jersey

When designing new products we love to delve into our extensive archive, taking inspiration from our history and blending these with new ideas. The all-new Cinelli football jersey combines the latest trend of vintage football kits with that super fresh Cinelli aesthetic. It’s available in two different designs and made in Italy from performance breathable nylon. A knitted collar and hem feature on the sleeves for a vintage feel. The Factory Floor football jersey takes inspiration from, you guessed it - Cinelli’s historic factory floor! We looked back in time at the uniforms worn in our bustling factory over the last 100 years, with a particular focus on the 1970’s and 80’s and the iconic workwear which was used in those times.

The jersey features the signature winged-c logo and the Columbus Dove embroidered on the chest. The Columbus Dove is featured on all Factory Floor items as a homage to our sister company Columbus with whom we have cordially shared the factory floor since the late 1990s. The Cinelli Milano logo pops in yellow as a transfer on the front.

The Shana Sadeghi-Ray Kitten jersey is a piece developed with the Cinelli art program which features original artwork created exclusively for Cinelli by New York based artist, Shana Sadeghi-Ray. She is a Boston-born multi-disciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, New York. Her recent work revolves around exploring her obsessive desire to collect, pushing her into mediums such as jewellery-making, crochet and collage.

We instantly loved the Kitten story which she designed as it features a road cyclist and a cat. It’s a perfect combo! A small winged-c sits on the front and the back is bold with the cat and cyclist taking centre stage, both are sublimation printed.
