Futura collaboration with Cinelli Art Program comes from afar. The road that led to this collection has been long and winding. There has always been mutual affection, but it’s the friendship that made it happen in the end. The graphic design recalls the stylized atoms that are one of the artist's persistent motifs, here appropriately turned into cogs and bicycle gears. The name “Domestiq” is a celebration of a central character in the road cycling epic, the Domestique, the rider who works for the benefit of their leader, rather than trying to win the race. The Domestiq Tech Tee merges the Domestique narration with the urban cycling environment, so familiar to Futura. The Tech Tee essence, to be worn for on and off bike activities, reflects the bivalence of Futura's love for cycling as a World Tour passionate and urban rider at the same time. Made with a highly breathable fabric, this technical piece has been designed to follow body movements, making it functional for a wide range of activities. The micro-perforated fabric on the side panels grants heat regulation at the highest intensity, while the front and back fabric is stretchy and quick drying.
